Hangman's Hymn, the creators of this auditory nightmare, invite us to confront the bitter truths hidden behind the facade of existence. "Life is not a miracle" is a journey into the heart of human suffering, exploring the darkest corners of the mind and the fragility of our mortal coil. It is a haunting requiem for a world lost in the shadows.
Biography:
Hangman's Hymn was formed in 2021 by GVC and XDS with the intention of creating extreme metal in the style of the eighties and nineties, with an old-school mentality and DIY approach. Drummer FG joined and the band released the first EP "The Misery March" in June 2021. After this release, FG left the band and the band continued as a duo, with GVC taking over the drumming duties. This resulted in the predominantly midtempo songs on the debut album "Life is not a Miracle".
GVC is also active in Splendidula, Wound Collector and Akem Manah, among others.
XDS is also active in Akem Manah, VoidWork and Plagueland, among others.
