The project Monhell consists of (all music and lyrics) and Penumbra (vocals), both of whom are also members of Kult et Morte and Berserk and have been active in the black metal scene since 1998.
The metal scene was already introduced to Monhell's debut album, “A Last Sigh of Pain,” in April 2025. Monhell and Penumbra, both members of Kult et Morte and Berserk and active in the black metal scene since 1998, are involved in the project.
Monhell is at the heart of the album’s creation, composing all the music and lyrics, recording all instruments, and providing clean vocals. Penumbra
complements the sound with his raw, intense vocal delivery, adding depth and fury to the slow, melodic Black Metal soundscape the album promises.
With a total running time of 42 minutes, “A Last Sigh of Pain” offers a carefully crafted listening experience. The album was recorded in 2024 and released on April 25, 2025, by the German label Fetzner Death Records.
