Sardonics debut album “Menschenfeind” is the direct successorto the first released self-titled EP “Sardonic”.Technically the record is more extreme and uncompromising.
The main goal at recording, mixing and mastering was, to create a dystopian and brutal depressing atmosphere.
In terms of content, the album focuses on the darkest characteristics of human behavior. Thematically the songs range from war, torture, murder, bloodlust, addictions, necrophilia, suicide, hate to full misanthropy.
It was the intention to create a on point, zero fat german-death-metal album, influenced by death-, deathdoom-, blackmetal and horror-ambient music.
Heavy guitar riffs, pounding modern drums, and relentless German lyrics are their weapons to defend against everything and everyone that stands in their way. SARDONIC, founded in 2022 in Passau, is on a mission for German Death Metal to put the audience in a state of shock. The four musicians are influenced by the dark depths of old-school Death and Black Metal and merge these with the heights of modern core. The result is a musical brutality that can be felt in all its might! The German lyrics reveal the ugly face of today's times without embellishment. The band does not mince words and shines a light on the dark sides of our world. The lyrics serve as a reflection of reality and may even provoke some fright. The audience is invited to dive into the dark world of German Death Metal and let themselves be captivated by it.
